THE APPLICABILITY OF THE QUASI-STEADY SOLUTION TO STEFAN PROBLEM IN DETERMINATION OF INTERFACE POSITION FOR VARIOUS WALL SUPERHEATS
In lieu of development of the computational models for boiling flow, an initial step is the solution of Stefan problem - a planar interface evaporation case for which there exists an analytical solution for transient interface advancement and the temperatu re field. However, the original solution to Stefan's problem involves a constant that has to be numerically obtained. To mitigate this, a quasi-steady solution in Cartesian coordinates comes in handy. In this paper, the applicability of quasi-steady model is investigated for different wall superheats by comparison with the analytical solution and numerical simulation.
CV
He was born on 16 May 1989 in Šibenik. He graduated in 2012 from the undergraduate and 2015 from the graduate studies in mechanical engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb (FSB). He also received his PhD from FSB in 2023. In addition, during his studies, he participated in the Erasmus program and spent five months at the Smart Interfaces Center of the Technical University of Darmstadt (Germany). After graduating, he worked for a short time at the company Creative Fields in Zagreb, and since 2016 he has been working at FSB, where he is currently a senior assistant at the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics of the Department of Thermodynamics, Thermal and Process Engineering. He has received several academic awards.

POREDBENA ISKUSTVA U REGULACIJI TEHNOLOGIJE POLUSAMOVOZEĆIH SUSTAVA U MOTORNIM VOZILIMA
