ANALYSIS OF IMPACT OF BUILDING REFURBISHMENT STRATEGIES ON THE TRANSITION TO LOW-TEMPERATURE DISTRICT HEATING
The decarbonization of the building sector is crucial for achieving climate neutrality, and district heating systems have shown a key role in this transition. The shift towards 4th generation district heating (4GDH) requires not only supply-side adjustments but also significant demand-side adaptations to ensure efficiency and sustainability. This study examines the impact of different building renovation strategies and changes in heating demand on the adaptation of district heating substations, focusing on their compatibility with new operating conditions. A simulation-based approach is used to analyse different adaptation strategies, evaluating their technical and economic feasibility under varying renovation scenarios. The analysis provides insights into renovation measures and economically viable solutions for determining the right timing of transition from high-temperature to low-temperature operating regimes in district heating networks while ensuring system reliability and cost-effectiveness.

POREDBENA ISKUSTVA U REGULACIJI TEHNOLOGIJE POLUSAMOVOZEĆIH SUSTAVA U MOTORNIM VOZILIMA
